1200 lumens, 8 modes, motion sensor. COB LED, so the beam is wide and even - not a tiny spotlight that forces you to turn your head constantly.

Eight modes sounds like a lot. You'll probably use three: high, low, and motion sensor. The rest are there if you want to get fancy.

Motion sensor is actually useful. Wave your hand in front of the light to turn it on/off. Helpful when your hands are full of tent poles or covered in grease.

1200 lumens is bright. Not 'landing a plane' bright, but plenty for setting up camp, walking a trail at night, or finding what you dropped under the car seat.

IP54 means it'll handle rain and splashes. Don't go swimming with it, but a sudden downpour won't kill it.

The headband is adjustable. Fits over a hat or directly on your head. Stretchy enough that it won't give you a headache after an hour.

Honest take:  it's not a $100 Petzl. But for camping, working on the car, or keeping in the glove box for emergencies? Does the job. The motion sensor alone is worth the price compared to cheaper ones.

Rechargeable battery means no scrambling for AAA batteries at 2am.
